Nerd Street Gamers is offering after school programs at Localhost this fall to gamers seeking fun and personal development through video games and esports.  Twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays, participants will have the opportunity to play their favorite games with new and old friends and learn valuable life skills within a safe, curated environment.  Gamers can expect to participate in off-screen activities, gamer challenge hours, recreational tournaments, and even some free play time to play their favorite games!


What is Localhost?

Localhost is a gaming and esports center owned and operated by Nerd Street Gamers. Located nationwide, Localhost provides gamers with professional-grade gaming PCs, as well as consoles, headsets, keyboards, and more for players to use. Along with after school programming, Localhost offers gamers of all skill levels camps, tournaments, community meetups, and more!  

Monday and Thursday afternoons beginning on September 20th and ending on December 20th.  

Program Structure:

What does an afternoon at the Localhost After-School program look like? Each week gamers will take part in scheduled activities like the below:

Gamer Stretches and Healthy Gaming Habits
Free Play
Challenge Hour
Off Screen Activity (Consists of physical and mental activities, and team building challenges)

Grouped by Ages/Grade Level:  

Grades 9 through 12 (2021-2022 school year)

Registration must be completed by a parent or guardian.  Please note that Camp Localhost is not a child care facility or day care center and is not licensed by the state where the program is conducted.  Parents are encouraged to stay for the duration of the program.  


The first monthly payment is due upon enrollment. Enrollment payments are due the first day of the month prior to the following enrollment period. Monthly payments for enrollment are due as follows:

Payment for September 20th - October 20th due upon registration

Payment for October 20th - November 20th due October 1st

Payment for November 20th - December 20th due November 1st
