Super Smash Bros Championships Rules

Overview

Competitors can qualify for Championships in two ways:

Finishing top two at one of three(3) stage finals.
Last Chance Qualifiers awards two spots.

Rules

Players will have ownership of points.

Structure

The point structure for our Localhost Smash Weeklies:

Weekly Event Point Structure

1st Place - 250 Points
2nd Place - 200 Points
3rd Place - 150 Points
4th Place - 100 Points
5th/6th Place - 75 Points
7th/8th Place - 50 Points
9th-12th - 25 Points
13th-16th Place - 20 Points
17th-24th Place - 10 Points
25th-32nd Place - 5 Points

Bounty Bonus: Players eliminating opponents that finished first or second in a previous week will receive a bonus for knocking them out of the lower bracket.

Knocking out the previous winner - 100 Points
Knocking out the previous runner up - 50 Points

Last Chance Qualifier

Last Chance Qualifier will be held on the Friday before the main event. This event will award two(2) players who place first and second a spot for our Championship Event.

Qualifiers and Leaderboard Structure

The top two players from our Last Chance Qualifier are awarded qualification spots for the Championship Event. The remaining six(6) players will have qualified through finishing first and second in each stage finals. Example:
