Nerd Street Gamers is hosting a 40-team, online Apex Legends tournament running from April 7th-8th with a $1,000 Prize Pot! This tournament is part of Nerd Street Champs 2022 where teams earn qualification points from online and in-person Apex tournaments throughout the season which concludes in August.

Start Time: 4:00pm PT | 7:00pm ET

Cost: 

Early Bird Price: $15/team* (March 22nd-March 30th)

Regular Price: $20/team* (March 31st-April 6th)

*This event will not issue refunds/resale on team tickets

Each wave plays 4 games, 2 games on Worlds Edge and 2 games on Storm Point

20 teams (Top 10 trios from each heat from Day 1)

6 games, 3 games on Worlds Edge and 3 games on Storm Point

Nerd Street Champs Points: Points are given to individual players when they compete. If players change teams they will incur a 20% penalty each time they switch to a new team. In order for players to keep their points without penalty, they must maintain 2 core players on the roster. 

Placement/Elimination point system from ALGS

Tie breakers will be decided by total wins then total kills if wins are tied.

Console players are allowed. Aim assist override will be on for all games (sets PC aim assist values for all)

Dropping out of the event without 48 hour notice or before completing all games will result in you and your team being placed on a low priority queue for 30 days. Teams on low priority queue will be automatically waitlisted regardless of registration time.

All competitors must be 13 years of age or older to compete.

Captains are required to join the Nerd Street Gamers Discord

After registering, Captains will be given the "Apex Captain" role to access the Apex Legends channels in our Discord including the Captain Meeting voice channel. Roles are updated every 24 hours so be patient when waiting for your role!

Team Captains must be present the day of the tournament via Nerd Street Gamers Discord  in the "Apex Legends Captains Meeting" voice channel at 6pm EST to check in and go over rules of the tournament.

After your full team has registered and gone through the steps above, team captains will receive an email with more information.
