School’s out? Game on! 🎮 This holiday season, give your child a fun, structured, and social way to spend their time off with our Winter Break Camps at Localhost sponsored by WGU for military families like you.

Nerd Street is excited to bring our Winter Break camp to military families courtesy of WGU! Just like our popular summer programs, Winter Camps balance on-screen gameplay with off-screen group activities that promote teamwork, communication, and friendship, all in a safe and welcoming environment where every gamer can shine. No prior gaming experience needed! 

WGU and Nerd Street are coming together to offer free spots at Camp Nerd Street: Winter Break, our premier esports and gaming out-of-school camp to military families like you! 

️❄️ December 29 – 31, 2025

❄️ 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM daily

❄️ Free registration for children of military families courtesy of WGU!

❄️ Ages 8-13

❄️ Daily sign up: Choose one or more dates that fit your holiday schedule! Each ticket covers a single day of camp. To register for multiple days, just add a separate ticket to your cart for each date you’d like to attend.

❄️ Aftercare available from 3-5 PM on Monday (12/29) and Tuesday (12/30) for $10 per day. Pay at the front desk during drop off.

❄️ Campers can play their favorite titles independently or join team games organized by the camp staff.

❄️ No minimum level of gaming experience is necessary to sign up! All gamers are welcome!

❄️ Each day, campers take part in off-screen and on-screen activities focusing on teamwork and communication while making friends!


Limited seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please notify us immediately if you know you need to cancel your child's registration. As this is a free program with limited spots, we want to ensure that any child who wants a spot can attend.

WILL MY CHILD NEED TO BRING THEIR OWN GAMING EQUIPMENT?

All gaming equipment will be provided at camp. This includes headsets, keyboards, mice, and controllers. There is no need to bring any equipment, but you are more than welcome to bring your own if you prefer!

WILL LUNCH BE SERVED AT CAMP?

There will be a lunch break at 12 pm each day. Campers should bring a nut-free lunch and snack. A refrigerator and microwave are available on site for campers to use.

📋 Action Item: Please be sure to submit the Camper Information Form no later than Friday, December 19th.
