Catalyst is moving to Philadelphia! Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's largest dedicated Major returns in a new location! Join us for a 2-Day event jam-packed with the most competitive MK8D LAN players out there!

Hosted by the team that brings you Broad Street Blur, we're bringing Catalyst to Localhost Philly with a grand stage for each event!

We will be offering 4 main brackets, including a 150cc 12-player FFA, a 200cc 12-player FFA, a Battle Mode Royale, and a 2v2 MOGI where teams of 2 will compete to get the highest cumulative score in each round.

Each event will have its own prize pool bonus and custom trophies/medals.

All payments will be made at the venue and are subject to tax.

We will also be hosting various free side events, including Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix, and other classic Mario Kart titles!

Catalyst 2025 is Bring Your Own Switch! Please bring your Switch system, a copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and your preferred controller. We will be providing docks and LAN adapters. If you do not own a Switch with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, we do have a few at the venue you can use but they may not have all kart combinations unlocked.
