Nerd Street is hosting a 32-team, online CS:GO tournament through FACEIT on January 8th! This tournament is part of the CS:GO The Standoff series where teams can compete to earn free entry into the $5,000 LAN held at Localhost Philadelphia from February 10-12th.

CS:GO The Standoff Series: Teams can compete in all four online events to try and earn free entry into the February LAN. If a team that has already won free entry wins again, free entry will be given to the next eligible team. Teams must maintain a core of three players from their original winning roster to qualify for free entry.

LAN at LH Philly: February 10-12, 2023 | 32 Teams | $5000 Prize Pot

This tournament is open to all players and teams, with spots given to the first 32 teams that have signed up with a full roster of 5 (teams may also register up to two substitutes to use on their ticket as well as on FACEIT). The top two teams will split the prize pool, with the winning team also earning free entry into the February LAN.

8-16 Teams: $500, winner also earns free February LAN Entry

Minimum to run: 8 Teams (refunds will be issued if the event is canceled)

This format may change depending on the final number of participating teams

Schedule: The schedule below is the projected outline and not the actual times of each match after the first round. The tournament will follow a rolling schedule, meaning matches will be played as soon as they are ready on the bracket. Times all listed in ET.

Captains and/or team managers must be present for the Captain Meeting in Discord at 9:45 AM PT / 12:45 PM ET, 15 minutes before round 1 starts.

This tournament will be run through FACEIT. All players will need to create an account on FACEIT as well as create a team on the website. Nerd Street will be sending out instructions on how to create a team and join the tournament to the Team Captain or Team Manager's email. When these steps are complete, the teams should see themselves listed as a participant on the FACEIT tournament.

As shown in the schedule, there will be a guaranteed break between Quarterfinals and Semifinals. Time-to-resume will be announced to all teams at the start of the break. Teams should ensure they are back and ready to play when that time comes.

The bracket will be updated in real-time after each game is finished on FACEIT.

All team captains or team representatives must be present via Nerd Street Discord throughout the tournament.

Live support will be available during the tournament via FACEIT's "CONTACT ADMIN" button on your match lobby dashboard or by joining the “Tournament Support” Discord voice channel under the CS:GO category.

Register your team by selecting your team ticket and clicking "Register" at the top of the page.

Team captains are required to purchase the team ticket and fill out the information for each player on their roster.

Join Nerd Street Discord. Each captain will receive a "CS:GO Captain" role that will be pinged leading up to and during the event with important information and reminders.

Registration follow-up emails will be sent daily so please be patient if you don't receive it right away! Due to the holidays, they might be delayed slightly for this first event.
