Spectator Pass: $10.00 (to be paid at the door)

Purchasing a team pass grants access to 6 PCs from the beginning of the tournament until the venue closes at 11 p.m. Spectators are also allowed to use PCs/consoles, pending availability.

*A minimum of 4 teams is required to operate a bracket. If 4 teams don't sign-up, all purchases will be refunded.

In preparation for the tournament, we ask that you and your team join our Discord server here. We will post updates, answer questions, and have teams use our voice chat channels during the event. 

The captain, coach, or advisor for each team must fill out the following player information form, both for the benefit of the venue and all participants. The player form can be accessed here. Please read carefully and fill out each item to the best of your knowledge.

Failure to complete the player form or join the Halftone Heroes Discord will lead to penalties being levied against your team. Don't put yourself at a disadvantage before the tournament even starts!

Paid parking is available at the Mick Drive Parking Garage and the Rowan Boulevard Parking Garage (within 1 block of the venue). Free parking can be found with limited availability on College Ave next to Angelo's Diner or the surrounding streets (be mindful of signs demarcating residents only street parking).

What gear/peripherals do I need to bring?

We recommend bringing everything you need to play at your best (mouse, keyboard, mouse pad, headset, comfort blanket, etc). Gear can be rented from the venue, with limited availability.

We will be relying on volunteers from the community for the broadcast, no promises.

If one of our players can't make it, are we allowed to use a sub?

The tournament will utilize a modified version of the Marvel Rivals Invitational rule book, which can be found here. Failure to comply with the tournament rules can lead to loss of map vetoes, hero bans, and/or disqualification. 

Team captains are responsible for creating the custom lobby, configuring the proper game settings, inviting the correct players, and beginning the match after being given the go-ahead from tournament operators. 

All games will be played on PC. Participants may elect to use mouse and keyboard or a controller. The use of an adaptor to simulate controller input on mouse and keyboard is strictly forbidden.

Trash talk is allowed but there is zero tolerance for malicious behavior, both in-game and in-person. It is up to the discretion of the tournament operator if a player acted with malicious intent, at which point the player's team will be disqualified from the competition.

All the maps in the current rotation on the event date will be featured in the competition. Captains from the two competing teams will flip a coin to decide which team is Team A and which is Team B. The pick/ban process will take place as follows:

Team A bans one map, Team B bans one map.

Team B picks one map, Team A picks one map.

The map left over is the decider. Team A decides the starting sides.

Team A bans one hero, Team B bans one hero.

Team B locks one hero. Team A locks one hero.

The remaining heroes can be chosen by any player.
