Nerd Street ventures into Magic The Gathering Arena bringing everyone a $5,000 Magic The Gathering Online Series! Players from North America will battle in multiple qualifiers that lead into this Championship Finals on October 22nd! The Finals will hold 3 days of tournament play from a classic Swiss to a separate top 32 Swiss Bracket composed of the top 16 from Day 1 and the top 8 from the previous 2 qualifiers. The top 8 from the second swiss bracket will advance to a top 8 Double Elimination Bracket which starts at 3pm EST on Sunday, October 24th.

Participants will need to register a account on mtgmelee.com (the platform used for this tournament series). After registering please visit this link Magic The Gathering Series: Championship Finals  to officially enter and register for  the event. Anyone who does not register on MTG Melee by Saturday, October 22nd at 2pm EST will not be in the tournament.

Minimum Age Requirement: 13 years of age

Format:
Standard - Best of 3

1. Zendikar Rising (ZNR)
2. Kaldheim (KHM)
3. Strixhaven: School of Mages (STX)
4. Dungeons & Dragons: Adventures in the Forgotten Realms (AFR)
5. Innistrad: Midnight Hunt (set release that triggers fall rotation)

2021 - Magic The Gathering Series Schedule:
Start Times: 3:00pm EST

October 22nd [Day 1] - Swiss Groups cut to Top 16 (Bo3s)

3pm - 8pm (7 rounds, Top 16 advance to Day 2)

October 23rd [Day 2] - NEW Swiss Bracket: Top 16 from Day 1 + Top 8 from each respective Qualifier (Bo3s) 

3pm - 7pm (5 rounds, Top 8 advances into Day 3 of Champs

October 24th [Day 3] - Top 8 Double Elimination
