The Next Fusion Overwatch Showcase is Coming Up

by Olivia Schaller--Updated

N3rd Street Gamers is bringing you more Overwatch excitement this month with the final Fusion Overwatch Showcase of 2018.

UPDATE: The Fusion Overwatch Showcase now consists of 8 teams instead of 16.

You might remember our last Fusion Showcase that we put on at Too Many Games back in June. That tournament had room for 32 teams and saw eight teams battle it out during the final. It was the largest licensed amateur Overwatch event to date. We watched Screenwave Media slice through the competition and win the event with a 3-0 record.

Got a receipt for that?

The Fusion Showcase in June was the first amateur Overwatch tournament in Philadelphia officially licensed by the game’s creator, Blizzard Entertainment. The November showcase will continue the good relationship between the content creators and the tournament operators.

The partnership between Philadelphia Fusion and N3rd Street Gamers combines the strength of the city’s first professional esports team with the region’s foremost gaming network. The Fusion Showcase competition is carefully watched by the coaching staff of Fusion University Contender League staff and other league scouts. The tournament also furthers N3rd Street Gamers’ mission of lowering the barrier of entry to competitive play for esports athletes. We’re committed to building the next wave of up-and-coming esports talent.

Will you be crowned the Fusion Showcase Champ? You won’t if you don’t enter! Register your team on Lobby.gg now!
