The long wait is finally over! Localhost Arena in Colorado is celebrating a Grand Opening this Friday, December 7th. The event is open to the public, and attendees are welcome to tour the facility and play the games on offer at a discounted price.
What: Localhost Arena Grand Opening
When: Friday, December 7th at 2:00 PM MST
Where: 1882 South Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood Colorado
With the aim of attracting the largest names in the esports industry to the Rocky Mountain region, Localhost Arena serves as a general purpose gaming center with food, drinks, and lounge space. It is the largest space dedicated to esports in Colorado.
The rising esports industry in Colorado is attracting well-known names from traditional sports. Recently, Pro Bowl Wide Receiver and Super Bowl Champion, Emmanuel Sanders (www.emmanuelsanders.com), became a spokesman for and equity partner in N3rd Street Gamers.
Opening Friday, December 7th at 2:00 PM, Localhost Arena will fill a gap in the esports events sector of the region. Esports across the globe is on track to be a 1 billion dollar industry by 2020, but there is no viable esports event space operating in Colorado. Localhost Arena is located in Lakewood, Colorado, and will provide the Greater Denver Area with access to high quality gaming machines and event space.
Localhost Arena in Denver utilizes 18,000 square feet of space near a high-traffic intersection in Lakewood and features over 120 PCs, a permanent event stage, consoles, VR, and a lounge. A full-service bar is scheduled to be part of the space by the middle of 2019. The primary focus of Localhost Arena is to organize and run esports events and tournaments.
Localhost Arena will play host to esports-related events and tournaments nearly every weekend. Events include, but are not limited to, PC games, console games, table top games, and digital and trading card games.
