N3rd Street Gamers heads to For the Women Hosted By Spectacor Gaming

In our ongoing efforts to promote an inclusive and welcoming environment in esports, three of N3rd Street Gamers’ female leaders attended the premier For the Women event hosted by Spectacor Gaming.

AUGUST 26, 2019 – The event took place in Venice Beach, California on August 15th and featured community enrichment, knowledge exchange, and networking as we celebrated female leaders trailblazing the gaming industry.

From makeup artists and businesswomen to influencers and developers, every aspect of the industry was represented and included in this event championing female participation and leadership in gaming.

“In a predominately male industry, it is so important to foster the growth of women in gaming and the esports community,” says Caitlyn Culpepper, Events Manager at N3rd Street Gamers. “The turnout of the event proves that so many important women want to empower each other to grow this industry.”

The event centered around collaboration on growing and making esports accessible to all who want to be part of the industry.

“Female participation and leadership in esports is critical to the industry’s growth and success,” said Paige Funk, Marketing Director at N3rd Street Gamers. “Esports are for everyone and our goal is to encourage and welcome all individuals wanting to join this community.”
