Top 4 games to watch this weekend in esports
by Brian Bencomo
Don’t know what to watch this weekend? We’ve got you covered. This weekend is all about the VALORANT Champion Tour’s Masters: Berlin. The 15-team international tournament kicks off Friday. Fragadelphia also returns this weekend for its 15th edition.
100 Thieves vs. Havan Liberty -- Friday, 3 p.m. ET
Masters: Berlin
The first NA team in action at Masters: Berlin will be 100 Thieves. The team “built for LAN” will finally get a chance to show what they can do on stage against one of the best teams in Brazil. Fans are excited to see Spencer “Hiko” Martin make some clutch plays and Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk rack up kills.

Envy vs. Keyd Stars -- Saturday, 3 p.m. ET
Masters: Berlin
Envy are NA’s third seed, but they still should be one of the best teams in Berlin. The team has been on a roll ever since adding Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker aka “El Diablo” to the roster. Like 100T, they also match up first against a Brazilian team, Keyd Stars. Without any European or Korean teams in their group, Envy are in arguably the weakest group. If they beat Keyd Stars, they’ll be well on their way to reaching the bracket stage.

Sentinels vs. G2 Esports -- Sunday, 12 p.m. ET
Masters: Berlin
The first NA vs. EU matchup of the tournament will be between Sentinels and G2. G2’s colorful CEO Carlos “oceolte” Rodriguez already has been having fun talking about how G2 will celebrate when they beat Sentinels. G2 are good, but given Sentinels’ nearly spotless record since March, it would be surprising if Sentinels lost to the fourth seed from EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). That said, their matchup and ocelote’s Twitter feed should be extremely entertaining to watch Sunday.
