April 5, 2020 – Camp Localhost, powered by Nerd Street Gamers, takes a unique approach to competitive gaming through online esports camps. We use competitive video game camps as a vehicle to help teach campers valuable life lessons such as communication, in-game tips and tricks, team dynamics, critical thinking, and computer knowledge.

Camp are offered to all ages for games including Fortnite, Valorant, Overwatch, Rocket League, and Hearthstone.

OUR CAMP COACHES

The biggest differentiator for Camp Localhost esports camps is our staff. As leaders in the space, we are able to engage campers online through structured programming and role-model staff to help them learn and grow in competitive video gaming.

Coaches are able to observe all campers’ gameplay and provide individualized feedback to improve each campers’ skills. Our coaches are vetted and trained thoroughly prior to joining Camp Localhost, and focus on teaching how gaming skills can also be applied to every day life.

HOW IT WORKS

Using Discord, a platform used by gamers for communication and tournaments, Camp Localhost Online engages gamers through sessions ranging from 4 to 6 hours. Our programs include single day clinics as well as week long, structured programs. Campers do not need to have video capabilities to participate.

DAILY CAMP SCHEDULE

Camp Localhost provides a structured environment for kids to not only learn about map strategies, tips and tricks, and better communication, but also include an educational piece every day.

The day is broken up between macro strategies, micro strategies, esports seminars, organized matches, and one on one coaching. A one hour lunch break is also included each day.

Our daily esports seminar includes professionals from across the industry including streamers, gamers, and behind the scenes roles such as operations and marketing.
