VALORANT

VCT Game Changers

Eight all-women teams are competing in this weekend’s VCT Game Changers tournament. Cloud9 White is the favorite to win it all, but some of the other big orgs competing are TSM Female, Dignitas Female and CLG Red. Among the other four teams, Owa Owa is one to watch, as their roster features three players who stream for Gen.G.

NSG March Monthly

Nerd Street’s March Monthly tournament will feature 32 teams competing for a share of a $10,000 prize pool. Cloud9 Blue, Built by Gamers, Andbox, Dignitas, Evil Geniuses and Version 1 are among the teams competing. Teams begin in groups, and the top 16 teams advance to a single-elimination bracket.

League of Legends

LCS

The LCS Mid-Season Showdown continues this weekend with two elimination matches. TSM face Evil Geniuses on Saturday, and 100 Thieves take on Dignitas on Sunday. Both matches are best-of-five. The winners advance and will play each other next weekend. The other two teams in the tournament, Cloud9 and Team Liquid, play each other next weekend in the upper bracket final. At stake is a chance to represent North America at the Mid-Season Invitational, an international LAN competition set to take place in Iceland in May.

LEC

The LEC Spring Playoffs get underway this weekend. Fnatic take on SK Gaming in an elimination match Friday. Top-seeded G2 Esports face Schalke in one upper bracket best-of-five matchup, and Rogue goes up against MAD Lions in the other upper bracket game. As in the LCS, a spot at MSI is on the line for whichever team ends up as the playoff champion.

Call of Duty

Stage 2 of the Call of Duty League season continues this weekend. The Dallas Empire kick off Week 2 with a matchup against the surprising Paris Legion. The marquee matchup this weekend will be the LA Thieves vs. Atlanta FaZe on Saturday. FaZe will look to remain undefeated this season, and the Thieves will be looking to bounce back from a close five-map loss to the New York Subliners last weekend.

Rocket League

The second regional event of Europe’s spring season takes place this weekend. The question is who can take down Team BDS? Team BDS has dominated the EU scene in RLCS Season X, winning both majors and five of the seven regional events. Team Vitality is BDS’s main competition, but Top Blokes and Giants Gaming are two other teams to keep an eye on.
