Pros react to release of Neon, VALORANT’s 18th agent

After weeks of rumors and leaks, Riot Games revealed the newest VALORANT agent on Wednesday. Neon is a Filipina agent who appears to be another duelist who can sprint and wield electrical abilities. The cinematic trailer released by Riot also shows the agent able to throw up two blue walls side by side and appears to have the ability to slide cancel. Lots of VALORANT pros took to social media immediately to reveal their initial thoughts on Neon.

One of the most common reactions was excitement over the agent’s ability to slide cancel like in Call of Duty.

Her kit appears to be quite powerful and might finally be an alternative to the must-play duelist Jett.
