FlyQuest unveils new jerseys ahead of LCS spring playoffs

FlyQuest unveiled a new jersey design on Friday ahead of their playoff series against Evil Geniuses this upcoming Sunday.
After a stunning season that saw the plucky underdogs earn a postseason berth, FlyQuest are ready to continue their invigorating spring split with a fresh look, alongside an extension of their TreeQuest x Priceless Planet Coalition.
FlyQuest’s new origami-themed jerseys feature a unique spin from their Sakura jersey worn throughout the LCS 2022 spring split. The playoff shirt runs off of the same cherry blossoms theme as spring, but with a black base instead of the white and pink theme seen in the regular season.
FlyQuest’s 2022 spring playoff jersey was created by in-house designer Phien Le and was inspired by cherry blossoms and Japanese aesthetics such as origami sheets, patterns and Japanese gardens. The new jerseys also keep with FlyQuest’s initiative to utilize recycled materials in their designs.
In addition to unveiling their new spring playoff jersey, FlyQuest also announced the extension of their TreeQuest x Priceless Planet Coalition, partnered with Mastercard.
The TreeQuest x Priceless Planet Coalition proved to be a major success thanks in part to FlyQuest’s strong spring split run. The org was able to plant a total of 4,070 trees across both their Academy and LCS teams during the regular season.
Now, FlyQuest looks to increase that number as the extension features a special playoff incentive that will double the trees planted per match compared to the regular season.
Throughout the playoffs, two trees will be planted per kill; 20 trees for any team that grabs an ocean dragon; and 200 trees for a FlyQuest victory.
FlyQuest’s new Spring 2022 Playoff jersey will be made available for purchase at the FlyQuest Shop online, where shoppers can also view the entirety of FlyQuest’s spring catalog.
FlyQuest ended their LCS 2022 spring split campaign with a respectable 9-9 record and enter the playoffs as the No. 5 seed. They will compete in their opening match against Evil Geniuses in the losers’ bracket on April 10, when they will embark on their mission to represent North America at the Midseason Invitational in Busan, South Korea.
The LCS 2022 spring split playoffs began last week, which saw Team Liquid and 100 Thieves advance in first-round upper bracket matchups. They will go head-to-head next in the upper bracket finals.
