Nerd Street and Localhost’s history with Counter-Strike
Nerd Street has been a longtime supporter of the grassroots Counter-Strike scene in North America, having organized dozens of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive LAN tournaments often in partnership with Fragadelphia.
Freeze Time will be the fifth CS2 LAN hosted by Nerd Street at Localhost since the game released last fall. In mid-November, Tricksters won the first CS2 LAN at Localhost in Philly. The following weekend, Conquerors won the Rowan LAN, with Lucas “fatguy” Muncy winning his second Nerd Street LAN as he played for both Tricksters and Conquerors. In December, the Denver and Fullerton Localhosts held CS2 LANs, and Welikecook won in Denver, while Lakers in 4 won in Fullerton.
